This Barbaresco is the result of a harmonious blend of factors: the vineyard's diverse sun exposure due to its shapeâknown locally as "bricco" (the peak of a hill)âalong with a special clonal selection and aging in barrels of varying capacities.
Winemaking: Upon arrival at the cellar, the grapes underwent destemming and crushing. Extraction took place over a period of 10 days at temperatures not exceeding 30 °C. Malolactic fermentation was completed before winter. The wine was aged in oak barrels of different sizes for at least 12 months. Following this, the Bric Turot was bottle-aged for an additional year prior to release.
Tasting Notes: Deep garnet color with dark ruby highlights. The nose is complex, featuring notes of licorice that perfectly balance with hints of small wild berries, cinnamon, clove, and delightful violet sensations. On the palate, it impresses with rounded tannins that fill the mouth, leading to a long finish of ripe fruit.
Food Pairing: Charcuterie, roasted meats such as pork knuckle, medium-aged cheeses, saffron risotto.
Enjoy at: 16-18°C.
